Beijing Institute of Fashion and Meilun Technology build the world's largest fabric library

On the morning of July 6, 2017, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation between Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology and Beijing Meiling Technology Co., Ltd. was held in the Library of Beijing Fashion Institute. The two sides reached a comprehensive consensus on cooperating to build the "Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology - FDC Fabric Library" project. Li Xiaoling, director of the Beijing Fashion Institute Library, and Yang Xiaofei, CEO of Meilun Technology, signed the cooperation agreement and accepted the interview.

For a long time, the supply of fabrics is small, slow, and insecure in quality, which has become a bottleneck restricting the teaching and creation of fashion design. With the world's largest fabric library settled in the Beijing Institute of Fashion, this situation is expected to be creatively resolved.

Yang Xiaofei said that the FDC Fabric Library is an innovative project of Meilun Technology. It is currently the world's largest trading platform for textile and apparel fabrics, and is also a clothing design ecosystem based on fabric trading. The cooperation with Meilun Technology to build "Beijing Fashion Institute - FDC Fabric Library" is a sharing of data and a win-win situation for the brand.
