Recently, the Heilongjiang Province Science and Technology Key Project “T700 Carbon Fiber Carbonation Pilot Production Line and Process Research” undertaken by the company passed the expert appraisal organized by the Science and Technology Department of Heilongjiang Province.

The appraisal committee of the chairman of the China Composite Materials Society, Du Shanyi, is the chairman of the appraisal committee. Tianshun Company uses the carbon fiber raw silk independently developed and produced as raw material. After the process optimization, the carbon fiber production technology and equipment technology with complete independent intellectual property rights have been developed. The international advanced level, its products can replace imports.

Experts say that the strength of carbon fiber is 10 times that of aluminum alloy, and the density is only half of it. There is a large demand in the fields of national defense, aerospace, marine engineering and energy-saving automobiles. However, the production of carbon fiber requires 30 processes, and which one is inferior to the requirements.

After five years of arduous innovation, the project has finally broken through the key technologies of high-performance carbon fiber production. According to the general manager of the company, Meng Fanzhen, the project uses a unique spinning process, DMSO solvent recovery technology, sophisticated carbonization production technology and advanced wastewater treatment technology. The quality is stable, the production cost is low, the environmental pollution is small, and the wastewater discharge during production is low. The production cost can be controlled within 200 yuan per kilogram, which is close to the production cost of international advanced enterprises. The current domestic cost is mostly between 1,000 yuan and 3,000 yuan per kilogram. It solves the two key bottlenecks of high production cost and unstable quality of domestic high-performance carbon fiber, and improves the international competitiveness of China's carbon fiber.
